
Bill Dallas is a passionate entrepreneur who founded Fox Sports Grill in 2001 with the FOX Sports Network and today is the Chairman and CEO of the growing company.
In 2004 FOX Sports Grill was named Nation’s Restaurant News “Hot Concept of the Year” and has never looked back. Today, the company is one of the nation’s largest restaurant companies with sites in California, Arizona, Georgia, Texas and Washington. Recently the company opened its newest grill in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, and has begun looking at opportunities with Hilton Hotels nationwide. FOX Sports Grill will open a Westlake Village location in September 2009, and has potential sites at the Anaheim Hilton and one in Birmingham on the drawing board. The company sees many growth opportunities in this challenging market.
Aside from FOX Sports Grill, Dallas also manages Dallas Capital, which he founded in 1999. Dallas Capital has developed significant expertise in operating all kinds of companies and is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs take the next step. Dallas began his entrepreneurial journey as the co-founder of First Franklin. Over its 26-year history, First Franklin became one of the nation’s largest lenders as it partnered with DLJ Merchant Banking, Bank of America, and National City Bank. Along the way, Dallas Capital helped launch two California Independent Banks: Heritage Bank of Commerce and California Oaks State Bank, and built several financial services companies, including Ownit Mortgage Solutions, MindBox, Sysdome, and Factual Data. Today, he is Chairman/Broker for Diversified Capital and Skyline Financial, and is looking at opportunities.
Dallas is also helping entrepreneurs Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen manage their capital and expand their company, Dualstar Entertainment Group. Dualstar is home to the mary-kateandashley brand, the quintessential lifestyle brand for tweens and teens, Elizabeth and James (license) and THE ROW (apparel).
Dallas earned a BA degree, Magna cum Laude, from Bowling Green State University in 1977. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in 1987.
Outside his business interests, Dallas and Olympic champion figure skater Scott Hamilton are championing the next generation of entrepreneurs at Dallas/Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Bowling Green State University. He is a Founder and Grand Patron of “Alliance for the Arts” in Thousand Oaks, as well as a founder and Board member of Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village. Dallas is married and has five children.
